Launchpad - Issues - tried everything - now Ill as the exper

I've had a launchpad for a while but am only now just getting around to using it in my setup. In midi synch tab it lists launchpad under control surfaces which I select, but then in the following two tabs under midi input and output it lists all my other midi stuff The laboratory IAC driver (bus 1) from MaX MSP 1 AND 2 Automap midi, Automap propellerheads, Automap prop mixer, Automap logic mixer - (I took a screen shot but cant upload????). Ive downloaded the latest automap software, ran all my plugins and validated them. Cant get any of the launchpad pads to show any signs of life but from what I cn tell I want because its not set up properly. The same goes for my BCR2000. I thought all this was supposed to be a piece of cake in live and right now thats two for two I cant get working. Any help woud be really really appreciated.
