Reaktor and midi in ableton

I am trying to send midi out of reaktor using one of its sequencers. I am using the monoliner sequencer. I've gone into the properties and set it to send external midi to the host program and I can see midi registering in the output port meter in reaktor.

However, I cannot see or route that midi in ableton. What gives?!

Monoliner is a bit buggy, look for the fix in the Reaktor UL, yet it's still a bit buggy.
I love Monoliner, but seems to me Live struggles with running this set up.
HOWEVER, if you find Live does not choke on pushing play with Monoliner routed to a synth, I'd love to know that.

but yeah, Midi from, choose Reaktor in the sub menu

i found out somewhere that midi is not transmitted through live unless you are using the vst instance of reackor, NOT the au instance.

that seemed to be the problem for me

can anyone confirm this?
