I am remixing an indie style track for a friend and have taken the track, made sure its nicely warped and on point and then Ive filter it with an auto filter, put some compression on it and then use Live Cut to sort of beat mash//repeat it. Ive done this in session view and recorded the outcome into the arrangement view, then tweeked LiveCut vst in the arrangement view so that the bits that arnt so funky are turned off via the purple envelopoe line thingie (hope i make sense so far).
Then I want to drag the funked up wav into the session view again, but when i do the track in arrangement view becomes dull in colour and wont play (kinda likethe tracks is in freeze mode. I also cant get the audio to play in arrangement view although the track does move from start to end when you press play. dont know how to reverse this. Even cntrl Z doesnt work to fix it?
Any advice guys?
