I missed the one that funken heard, but after reading his comment I think that the bass drum is still too "in yer face" for an ambient piece.
IMO it's too "clicky". I would suggest using a bass drum that's deeper and softer (more muffled with less attack).
In descriptive words, it needs to sound more "woom" than "tick".

Nice work, I'm impressed by the evolution. (is the most recent track really from the first one you posted?)
There is a really pleasant cohesion in the processing of all the sounds in the last bit of the track. The same kinds of soft edges, even with the gating effects, etc. Nice work!
