Isn't that what cmd+1,2,3,4 etc... does?

Yes and no. You can narrow and widen the grid, but I find I often want to, after zooming in or out, jump to a specific fixed grid in the arrangement view. Cycling through ⌘+1 or ⌘+2 until I find it doesn't save time.

⌘ (ctrl) + 1 - narrows the grid.
⌘ (ctrl) + 2 - widens the grid.
⌘ (ctrl) + 3 - enables triplets.
⌘ (ctrl) + 4 - turns off the grid.
⌘ (ctrl) + 4 - fixed grid.

Is there a shortcut (or a way to create one...) for making the grid fixed at 1/8, or 1/16, for example? I would love to create a hotkey for each of the fixed grids from 1/4 to 1/32.

I'm running Ableton Live 9 Suite on MacOS Mojave. I have created various hotkeys through system preferences, but there is no menu bar option for "fixed grid at 1/8" or "fixed grid at 16th" so I'm not sure how to go about it.
