hi everyone,
i was wondering if using an equipment composed of a guitar with exaphonic pickup, and sending its midi signal to the sound card to play live a chosen midi could be possible. you know, i play some sort of live electronic music ( with guitar, bass guitar and drums) , and i want to play the synths with my guitar. I asked some "experts" and i was both told that it would have been impossible, due to latency problems, but another person who apparently uses a similar equip me, he's confirmed that it is possible to do such a thing instead.
thanks a lot in advance!

Re: GUITAR WITH MIDI
Why don't you try a Yourock guitar? It's quite nice, and tapping has virtually no latency. If you really want to make your guitar midi by
installing a roland gk-3, for example, it will cost you a lot. And is it important for you to play polyphonic? Otherwise, try 'voicekeys' in Reaktor, or 'sonuus i2m'.
