I often play in melodies and chords I think of directly into midi clips using my controller.
As it's not perfectly in time, I quantize it, and the velocity is often all over the place, so I'd like to know how I can 'normalize' the levels instead of manually adjusting each velocity to make them all the same?
Thank you in advance!
normalizaing midi velocity levels.

Re: normalizaing midi velocity levels.
put a velocity midi effect on it, turn it to fixed mode and select the velocity value you want.
you can also put the velocity sensitivity inside your instrument to 0.

Re: normalizaing midi velocity levels.
Turn the vol/vel parameter to 0%. This will make it sothatno matter what the velocity is, the volume will always be the same.

Or just click into your midi clip, hit command+a to select all notes and do command+mouseclick+drag-up-or-down to change velocities. On Mac that is..
