Automation Duplication in Ableton

Post by jezjonson » Fri Dec 21, 2012 5:46 am

Hi
For a long time, I had the impression that when
copying a PART, it also copied the automation underneath the part.
Then all of a sudden it stopped doing this.
(Is this 'cos of different versions of Ableton on my iMac and Laptop tho'?).

Now I am using my Laptop and the automation copies again.

Can anyone shed any light on this poltergeist matter?

Cheers. Jez.

Check that the automation is not locked. (There is a button with a padlock icon in the top right of the arrangement view; if it's orange, that may be your problem.)
