Anyone using MAschine to control Live with the NI template?

It's just not working for me.

maschine works fine as a plug in and in standalone. Just not well in midi mode.

Can't navigate using the B, E, F and G buttons (although they are lit up suggesting the template is loaded into maschine ok).

I am able to see maschine as a midi control surface. that's ok,

Have stuck the scripts into live as per the instruction vid I watched on MPV.

But it seems not to be sending signal, I can trigger the bottom row of clips, thats ot, no fader movements from the knobs or much of anything else.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you fix it.

Will get onto NI but I suspect that as it's pretty much xmas I might find it hard to get ahold of someone...

How long have you had Maschine? Are you using the latest template from controller Editor? If you load up the older template, things could get messy. I'd basically suggest following each step over again (removing the old instances of templates and scripts).

Hi, just had the same problem, and this fixed it:

1. Make sure you update the Controller Editor to the newest version 1.5.3
2. Open the Controller Editor and go to the templates tab on the right side of the screen
3. Go to the factory templates drop down box and select ableton live
4. you should now have two ableton live templates listed (8 and 9)
5. the new template should be 9, but you can check this by going to the pages tab (the new version will have more pages) I deleted the old ableton template to avoid confusion, but you prob dont have to do this

Now if you open ableton and and the maschine vst you should be good to go
