Hey there. I have successfully built a template in Lemur that links a bunch of lemur faders to abletons mixer and a bunch of sends. Everything is mapped and working great. However, every time I shut down Lemur, it resets itself. Not a huge problem, but when it starts back up it doesn't update to reflect the current state of Ableton's fader levels. If I mouse a fader up or down, lemur picks it up and is dead on. But it doesn't just update to the current state. How can I get it to do that? It's like I need to ping it somehow so it knows what's up.
Thanks

Re: Lemur: How to get lemur to reflect ableton's current state
I'm not quite sure but would like to know the answer to this. I'm trying to learn Lemur and would love to know how you solve the problem.
My closest bet would be through Max for Live, and the Mu template springs to mind. Is there any way you can open this up and take a look inside? Otherwise Liine are about to release the LiveControl 2 template which might be another one you could open up to see how it works.
Sorry I can't be of direct help, but its a few ideas. Out of interest, do you have any recommendations for new users like me trying to pick Lemur template design up?

Don't quote me because I am not completely sure but I have a feeling you would need to create a control surface for that to happen.
If it is like touchOSC and similar you should get the feedback when you load a set (it dumps it all out) or when a control moves in Ableton by automation or physical movement.
One other thing you can try is go into MidiMap mode then out again. I believe this dumps MIDI mappings out again. Just create a control on your Lemur if it works to control MIDI Map mode and hit that to sync the controls.

Yup. Entering and exiting midi map mode did the trick!
Thanks so much.
