Playing one clip at a time on the APC40

Post by SnoopWess » Fri Feb 01, 2013 8:33 am

So I've rendered out fuck ton audio audio clips, and chopped each one down into the individual note they are playing. I have my APC set up so each clip launch pad plays a different sequence. I really just want to jam and see what I can come up with, but I have a small problem. Every clip is a bass sequence. I cannot play two bass sequences over eachother. Is it possible to only have one clip playing at a time? I mean, say scene A is playing a clip, when I trigger a clip in scene B, I want the clip from scene A to shut off automatically. I want only one clip to play at a time, no matter what scene it's in. Can somebody Please Help ME!!

Thanks in advance

Do you have max4Live?

If so theres a patch you can use to change the APC's matrix grid to play notes. So you can load all your clips into a drum rack and play them from there.

Here's the patch http://www.maxforlive.com/library/devic ... trix-modes

If you don't have Max4Live I don't know of any other way.
