i got the vinyl/cd (which is on the way) +i got the 320 mp3 version of the download, but i might grab one of the WAVs. wasn't sure if my computer would play it?
the songs are awesome....the guitars are so noisy!! its crazy!!

i was thinking the same thing!! it sounds like it should have been the album right before loveless. i agree, no real stand out tracks, but that might be the point? i think it is solid though.

Nothing Is is pretty rock'n'roll, reminds me of Fuck Buttons, but about halfway through it reminds me of funken.

It's good after Loveless in a cool-off sort of way, but before Loveless it's good like a pre-cursor, a little more minimal and clean...

Not sure if no standouts is supposed to "be the point", maybe that's just what came of it. It's still good....don't think I'll get the vinyl tho.
Will just have to keep playing it...

im halfway through my second time listening. i think its a great record! im only mildly disappointed, it's not as good as loveless, but come on....that album is godly. there was almost no way they were going to top that, especially 22 years later. who sees you is my favorite joint on there!! i think the guitars sound like they were recorded using a practice amp. but that might be the version i bought?

No it's not the version you bought Yeah I just finished Only Tommorrow again, which is, yeah, it's still classic....overall it's a little more droney, like....anthem-ing to shoegaze
Maybe like "I know this will be the nail in the coffin so let's gaze"

DUDE, people are going nuts on FB. like its eargasmic. other people are HATIN' like crazy!! LOL!! a few people are saying the same thing like it sounds like it was supposed to be between isnt anything and loveless! my second time through, has been better than the first. i turned the volume on my headphones down so the guitars don't kill me. i never thought in a million years i would ever utter those words.
