being able to edit the common attribs of multiply selected clips would be a great time saver.
i.e. select 10 clips, change all of their quantize settings at the same time etc..

I agree, perhaps have a Clip Group section where you can assign clips to various group numbers, and then anytime you change a parameter for a clip, all the clips in that group change accordingly. You could have several behaviors, like Absolute, where a parameter follows the settings exact, or Relative, where a parameter moves relative to it previous position (like ProTools fader groups).
