Max 4 Live 64bit - Object help not working

So I upgraded to ableton 9 and max 4 live 64 bit. I have everything installed and the devices work.

If I right click an object and click the help button, a demo of that object is loaded like usual. However, the audio does not work for these help files. I've tried a bunch of them and no audio is outputted for any of them. I tried going to options->audio status but it just says Driver - Live.

I've also tried making a new patcher but it appears that audio is not outputted unless it goes into ableton. Which sucks for using help files...
