Effects On Master Channel

Post by mattstan » Tue Mar 12, 2013 4:06 am

Hey Everyone -

Looking at the best way to put an effect ( let's say beat repeat or auto filter ) on the master channel to affect all working tracks except one track. Is there a way to exclude tracks that get affected by an effect? I'm working on a set that has about 60 tracks, so I don't want to have to group all the tracks to apply the effect except one.

Is this something that I can do with Max for Live?

Thanks!

Don't know about M4L, but grouping would be a simple solution. Just shift-select all but the one track and hit the group hot-key. Your problem will be solved in <10 seconds.
