i have the old Skin Editor here for Ableton 8 and lower( this one here:
http://www.macableton.com/Ableton_live_ ... iting.html), but it seems that it isnt working for Ableton 9.
is there a way to modifiy that new Disco Skin manually? because there are some element color i dont like
or
they just sponsor us a skin editor app for free?
any ideas?

well when im opening the disco skin in the 1.2b skin editor all colors a loaded as black/blue colors.
also considered to edit it maunally - but the *.ask file is sadly nothing close to a text file.

hmm in v9 the *.ask files are bigger - means they add a few more values to color and might changed positions of some values.
because i was able to change skins from v8 with that skin editor. seems like someone needs to code a new skin editor :/

Hopefully there fresh new one but it's a maxforlive device, as maxforlive is bundle natively now you should use and build your own skin... as it say, it's not powerful a the sonic trasfer one's but i think it's far capable to do what you want : skin colors change

The Max4Live Skin editor mentioned earlier in this thread is not really satisfactory. There are some key and important bits of the GUI which don't appear to be covered. For example, on my favourite skin ("Easy on Eyes" available at Sonic Transfer), the colours differentiating the Device Activator (the button with which a device is switched on or off) are not clear at all. But the Skin Editor does not allow me to edit them as far as I can see...
Since the Live Skin has been decompiled, has there been progress with the Skin Editor?
Thanks
