not promoting my track, just want mix quality feedback!

This is the beginning of my new funky track. Eventually gonna add some MJ esque vocals over the top. Looking for critiques on the mix quality. How does this sound on your system?

Definitely going for a lo-fi feel. Did I go overboard?

16 views and NO feedback!?

People are lazy around here!

Quality sounds good, nice dynamic range, clean sounds etc

I'd comment that the sound is very computer made, so if thats what you're going for I'd say good stuff

I can see it sounding a little less "commercial bed"esque with the right vocals over top

Hope that helps!!!

Please return the favour and check out my youtube/soundcloud page!!! (link in my sig)

Cheers :D

Thanks! I had not thought about it as commercial bed music. Now I am feeling really critical of it. Gotta make it better!

I think you should make it cheesier/lo-fi. Right now it's riding the line between sounding intentional or not. With the sounds you're using the mix is going to be the easy part.
