bouncing audio tracks to free up space
Hi all
Im new to Ableton; Im using Live Lite and the 8 track limit is becoming a real nuisance for me. Im trying to send tracks 3 and 4 to track 6, to make room for more tracks. but im only able to select one input track for track 6, therefore only track 3 OR track 4 is recording on the destination track 6...Anyone?
Thank you!

Instead of selecting the input for Track 6, set the outputs of Tracks 3 and 4 to feed Track 6

Damn, son. This is totally making me flashback to the old 4-track cassette recorders, the height of home recording gear back in the late 80’s.

My dad managed a studio back in the 60's...the whole band recorded at the same time just in different rooms and they all had to nail it at the same time...editing meant cutting magnetic tape!

this reminds me of an oldfashioned 4-track techno pieces produced with scream tracker.
