So I learned about this method of creating instrument racks as a chain layer within a drum rack cell as a way to layer samples together. I've seen it work in live 8 but when I go to implement this method in live 9, I noticed that when you do add in additional chains within the same drum rack cell, you still have to draw in separate midi notes in order to get the sample layers to trigger at the same time.
Does anyone know if this functionality changed between 8 and 9? Or am I just missing something?
