Automation of Reason 3 Matrix pattern change not working

I have a song in 4.1.2 (same problem in 4.1.1) that was automating a Matrix in Reason 3. I created two midi clips that would each change the pattern of the matrix. I just drew a line in for the CC parameter for the pattern change in the clip and it worked fine.

All of the sudden, it stopped working! I have no idea why. I deleted the midi track, recreated it, no dice. Completely bizarre! I've done it on other tracks and it has worked fine, I'm just concerned about opening them up and having this not work.

Anybody else seen this phenomena?

Have you checked the props site page about confirmed reason 3 bugs?
could be related to this issue:

2) Pattern Change Automation
Reason 3.0 misinterprets pattern change automation when patterns don't start on the downbeats. This can be a problem when loading songs with pattern automation, created in version 2.5 or older. This problem does not occur if the length of the patterns conforms to the time signature (e.g. 16 or 32 step patterns in a 4/4 song) and the pattern changes happen on downbeats.

Good catch! It might be related, but this was created with Reason 3, not in 2.5, pattern changes are 4/4, etc. They might just have a different bug. I signed up to beta 3.01, so hopefully I'll get on and I can report it.
