Changing one parameter with multipile pads?

How can someone achieve editing one parameter with multipile controls.

The situation: I have my KORG nanoPAD set up with live. I have an LFO rate i want to control. How can i map each rate values to their own pad

EG: 1/8 - CC1
1/16- CC2
1/64- CC3
etc, etc, and everything in between.

I know in Ableton you can control values by 2 like set a rate of 1/3 as the minimum and 1/8 as the maximum but how can i control the values pad by pad?

Depending on how your midi notes or cc's are set up, you can specify a range by holding down two controls at once while your in mapping mode. It's more predictable with keyboard keys, but if your pads midi is sequenced in numeric order then it might work out. So when you're in map mode hold down the top or bottom left pad then the opposite row side on the right. You should see more than one value show up on the macro.

The pads are set up from

TOP PADS: Pad 1 - CC3
Pad 2 - CC4
3 - CC5
4 - CC6
5 - CC7
6 - CC8
7 - CC9
8 - CC10

I tried pressing multiple pads but live only recognizes it as a single pulse. Nothing changes. its still one pad toggling between max and minimum. How did you set yours up?

The nano pad has four scenes. the last one is the only one with cc's. the first three is just notes running chromatically up. as the pads go on. i tried using the midi notes instead and it wont assign the note to the LFO rate. so yea slurm is right

Sweet take that back! it has to be midi notes because control changes just happen in press while notes can be HELD down thanks!
