strange AudioDropos and strange CPU behavoiur

Post by mlostekk » Sat Jul 27, 2013 1:38 pm

Hey there,

i have a really strange behavoiur..

when i add one track (AbletonPreset: InstrumentRack -> Ambient Evolving -> Andromeda Space Pad) to the set, i play melodies and harmonies.
now when i do NOT have chrome open (with ~20 tabs).. the CPU meter jumps arround in the are of 32% up to 52%
now when i open chrome browser, the CPU meter jumps around in the range of 12% to 20%.

both of the times i get audio dropouts unregulary

lacencymon and dpcchecker looks all green in both of situations, execution times are okay, no hard pagefaults on critical processes (have disabled pagefile, even though there are some hardpage faults, so i dont get it. but when it crackes, the hard pagefaults are not incremented. so this 509 on svhost is static for a long time)

i can drop dozens of reaktors, fully packed kontakt5 instances, and lots of waves audio effets, and i get a stable (even if its high) cpu load in the internal cpu meter.
but the built in stuff,(espacially this preset) i get this jumping cpu meter and also sometimes dropouts.

any idea about this behaviour?

it sounds like kind of a cpu throttling, but i dont know how to disable this for a AMD processor.

here my cpu spec
Desktop AMD Phenom II X4 965 Processor 3.40Ghz, 8GB RAM, 64Bit windows, 32bit ableton live
