This is weird. I'm trying to use the PizMIDI converter device to change CC# to Channelpressure (aftertouch).
I made a separate MIDI track to take input from my controller (Quneo) and send it to the MIDI track that holds my instrument (Diva). As soon as I popped the midiConverter3 into the track, the track automagically changed to an audio track. WTF? It seems to think this MIDI device is an audio device. But there's no audio to it.
Just in case, I tried sending the output directly to the instrument, but didn't work. Just for the hell of it, tried to put the Converter into the instrument track before the instrument, but Live sees it as a MIDI device and won't let me do it.
What is there about PizMIDI or Live that I don't get?
(I'm running Live 8.3.? on a Macbook. I successfully used a different PizMIDI device in Live (audio to Midi converter) to make VU meters in Quneo, and that worked ok.)
BTW, PizMIDI is a phenomenal, and free, set up VST plugins from "Insert Piz Here." http://www.thepiz.org/plugins/
