When i play 1 clean audiotrack (just abletons metronome , no samples or FX) in ableton to my external mixer (yamaha fx16) and rerecord it in ableton , i get a delay of 95 ms from the beginning of the new wave to the first 'tic'.
My soundcard (emi 2/6 , latest drivers) is set to 20 ms --> Shouldn't the total delay be 2 X 20 = 40 ms?
Where do the other 55 ms come from?
Also , when I use NI battery , audiotracks and midi tracks routed to external gear , the tempo doesn't stay consistent for the whole song.
(ableton's cpu meter doesn't go above 30 - 40 % , even on heavy songs)
