Drum step sequencer question

I just got my Push about an hour ago and I'm having one small problem. OK, when I'm in drum mode step sequencing w/ 16th notes, the moving light on the push stays either on the top 2 rows or the bottom two rows but the sounds update normally.

Say I have two bars at 16th notes. That's 4 rows of the step sequencer. Say I have a 4/4 kick in the first bar, and a 4/4 kick +clap in the second bar. The sound coming out of Live plays the 2 bars normally. Like, 4 kicks then 4 kicks + clap. But the moving light on the Push step sequencer only moves thru 2 rows.

Does it change accordingly when you go to either 32 or 8 steps?

I think it is done to stay consistent.

I think I may have fixed it. I had to over ride my custom template and the use the stock default template. Guess I had a setting wrong in my template or something.

I see this too from time to time and it had been driving me mad. I think it is related to there being a loop active in the arrange view.

If you are working on a 4 bar loop in session mode but the arrange page is looping in a 2 bar loop it looks like Push picks up the transport position from the arrange mode loop. This causes the position indicator light to pop back to the beginning of the loop but the rest of the sequencer display works fine.

I only twigged because I had a weird half bar loop in the arrange from a bit of sample chopping I was doing and the drum sequencer was looping the indicator in the same pattern.
