Okay, I don't know how possible this is but...I would like Ableton's browser to search folders for drum sounds and recognize them and categorize them accordingly. Snare sounds, Kick drum sounds. cymbals etc. If Ableton can recognize drum sounds enough to convert audio drum loops into midi equivalents then why can't it analyze what sounds are what in my folders? This would save me plenty of time organizing my samples instead of doing it manually. If you have gigs worth of samples like I do then getting them into the respective folders can be a daunting task. Even if it was 60% accurate then it would let me have more time with my music instead of deciding if a sound is a open hat or a weird ride sound. Also this would truly set Ableton ahead of most other daws.
more time on music and less on organizing.
