Push not recognizing button press in drum mode step sequence

Hey all,
so when i am trying to step sequence beats or even record them live. i get a bug where the snare is the only thing that is selected, which is on E2, but nothing shows up on the step grid
if i tap on the kick C2 it flashes green but does not select it for me to step record or even see show up during live recording... i have moved them all over trying to get them to show up but to no avail...
and every time i try and install one of the new beta versions it crashes on install, any one else having these issues??? and how did you fix it...
