Reason not showing up in External Instrument

Hello and thank you in advance.

I am using Live 9. Previously had not had problems Live 7 & 8 (I know how the protocol-rewiring Reason to Live-have done it a few times)

OK. I open up Live then Reason. Set up external instrument on a midi track etc etc but when I pull down the menu from Midi To: no Reason? It not in the pull down menu-or anywhere to be found?

Is reason showing that it is in rewire mode. light on hardware interface?
are both 32 or 64 bit.

This also happens to me, Newest Ableton Newest Reason...at least whatever version is out this month. The Reason VST's work but when I open Ableton first, then Reason then add Ext.Inst. Reason doesn't show up as a source anywhere, I am using Focusrite 2i4 1stgen with it's ASIO drivers, Reason seems to not be in rewire/slave mode and in Asio focusrite (which is what it works on independently) and I can't seem to change to rewire mode in the options....Also here is a weird thing, the MIDI in Reason acts like it wants to work with Ableton...hmmmmm

You can use Reason Racks in Ableton, Reason 11 does not support rewire anymore........
