Is there....
Is there....
a simple, single USB Midi Pedal you can recommand?
In my live set, i've got that snare-roll track,
that does nothing else but snare rolls.
I mapped the level of it to a fader, so i can
make buld ups & stuff.
Problem here is, i need to pull that fader down again,
on the first hit of the Bar right after the build up.
That's a moment, where i need my hands to do other stuff.
So i'm thinking of attaching just one single foot pedal,
That sends midi CC, so i can control the snare rolls
with my foot, having my hands free to play some instuments & stuff...
But i couldn's find such a pedal.
are there any??

Re: Is there....
Not sure of too many single control MIDI foot switches out there, the most popular ones(SoftStep, FCB1010 etc.) have multiple controls on them, but they do work well.
There is this... http://www.midisolutions.com/prodfsw.htm
Haven't used it myself, but looks like it might be a solution. Need to already have a footswitch pedal though (they can be bought for a low price) - it converts the press of the foot switch to a midi signal.
Other here may know of better solutions.

But there could be a nice approach for your situation that doesn't need one.
You could just instal clyphx (free and useful for just about anything) and make yourself an automated action that turns down the level of your track over the time you desire and then trigger that action via Midi. Look up clyphx on this forum, there is a very good thread on it here. What you want is an xTrigger.
Same works for turning it up of course.
Just some information you may, or may not find useful

Re: Is there....
Do you have a keyboard with input for a substain pedal? That works fine with any analog foot pedal, allthough you might need to reverse polarity. Also if you have an APC40 theres 2 inputs for footswitchs on it. Same concept. Be carefull with standard analog footswitches of polarity and if its latching or momentary.
Re: Is there....
well i need CC, not note events, or pgm changes...
so sustain pedals won't do the trick...
neither attached to a keyboard, not to an apc...

Re: Is there....
Well it mentions two on the page! It also tells you what they're called, so you can use Google to search for more.

may be I am missing something...
but how are those logidy buttons creating CC values between 1 and 127?$
How can control a channels volume fader with that? (not just on/offing it)

Re: Is there....
Have you actually been to www.logidy.com and read the information on the page?
Just like the product I linked to, the text on the page describes exactly what it does, and how you can use it.
If you don't understand English then maybe someone here can translate for you if you tell us what language you understand.

...i'll need another pedal with That pedal to create CC.
ok. that's just not what I had in mind...

Re: Is there....
I don't see what the issue is...
If you really must have just one box.......then take the guts of the pedal and USB converter out of their respective cases & build them into a single box.
In fact you don't even need to go that far. Simply place the two items next to each other and secure them together with a base plate (or even some gaffa tape!).

Re: Is there....
that pedal will push what ever CC value you assign to the three buttons. You can also use note values etc, but the tiny piece of software it comes with that you use to map it out gives you 16 channels to pull it off with.nemoy wrote:...i'll need another pedal with That pedal to create CC.
