Insert Midi?

Insert Midi?

Every time I try to insert a MIDI track into Ableton, it keeps inserting a drum kit. How do I just insert a blank MIDI track? (Live Suite 9) It keeps inserting PowerKit2 for some reason.

Looks like you saved a midi track with the drumkit as default.

So add a midi track, delete the drum kit and save the blank midi track as 'default midi track' (via right click on the channel header).
Now, the next time you add a midi track, it should be blank.
