Java and Max for Live not working properly

I keep getting a "Max for Live will not work properly unless Java is installed. Please restart Live after Java installation has finished." I've updated the Java several times and restarted the computer (Mac Book Pro running Mavericks) and Live multiple times. I have all the latest updates and I'm not seeing this issue in the forums. Any help would be great, cheers

I figured it out, you have to manually install Java SE 6 from this link http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572?viewlocale=en_US it was posted on Oct 15, 2013.
