How does the M4L's Ultimate Mixer shape up to 9.1's own implementation? I find the dual windows a little clunky. Does UM offer similar functionality, or better? I would be interested to know.
Thanks!

Re: Dual Windows Duel - Ultimate Mixer v 9.1 ??
i didn`t know if there`s a updated version (but i think there isn`t because of live 9.1) but the versions i have tried have a few problems (almost the same as the other alternatives):
huge CPU usage
inaccurate peaks
and the volume faders are getting more and more displaced as more you zoom the mixer window.
so i tried it and put it to the archive of stuff i bought but will probably never use again

As in screens? I have one screen only. I want to use Live's two windows on one monitor screen. And I want more flexibility on what I can focus on. At the moment I can't seem to be able to focus the screens on two separate tracks simultaneously in session view.

HI, I'm the developer of Ultimate Mixer. This development was built because the dual monitor support wasn't included in Live. When they announced this feature for v9.1 I sent an email to all my costumers informing that the project was cancelled. Anyway v1.1 of Ultimate Mixer improves a lot (a lot) cpu usage vs v1.0 and I tried to "solved" the inaccurate peaks with a really accurate dB display. I still use it and if you want to start developing m4l devices it has a lot of info about Live'a API and the LOM.The Finn wrote:viewtopic.php?f=35&t=193223&start=0&hil ... mate+mixer

Yes, this is correct. It's not what the two window setup was designed for. It's a shame, Abe's had the opportunity to develop a truly flexible solution, yet chose to give us this instead. Single screen users are still denied the option to see mixer and arranger together...The Finn wrote:Galt wrote:Are you using monitors?
