Hi I don't know where can I ask because it looks there is no way to ask questions anymore about Ableton.
I am new so any help very welcome. I am converting from MainStage and Logic so I must understand differences.
Very simple basic thing:
I want to send some of my virtual instruments to the built in Looper.
On return track A I have Large Hall
On return track B I have 4bar looper
So I have turned on on Piano Track Send A
And Then Send B
BUT THE PROBLEM: HOW TO SEND REVERB TO THE LOOPER AS WELL?
In MainStage I could insert one after another, and here how to do it?
Thank you
When I apply reverb to the instrument I want have looped I can here the reverb while I am playing, but when looper plays it back there is no reverb.
Looper Ableton and reverb
Re: Looper Ableton and reverb
Right clicking on send dials on the return tracks, lets you enable them, and send them to themselves or other return tracks.

I don't use Looper, but it seems to me I don't see why you would either.
As far as I understand Looper is used for Live instruments that you loop into a DAW.
For Looping virtual instruments the normal clip writing and looping should work a lot better. And you can then just use the track sends.
Or am I missing something?

yes, you are missing something. It sounds very different (you can layer different tonalities) and provides different functions, EG fading.TomViolenz wrote: Or am I missing something?
as for the OP, yes, right click the send knob in the return channel and activate it.
