Welcome to the exciting launch release of Kollektiv Audio Archives!
Kollektiv is a Semi Annual Psychedelic music/art gathering on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Now, The Maritimes provinces of Eastern Canada are certainly not well know for any sort of psy activity. In fact, a lot of the local electronic dj's and producers here are still unaware of popularity of psy music in the rest of the world.
until now.
A few local artists began challenging other local artists into writing and performing in this "new" style. Without much exposure to psy music before, the results were amazing. the annual festival quickly blew up into a semi annual affair, and intrigued artists eagerly rose to the challenge of something that was a little out of their box.
Here, we have a rare opportunity to watch the beginning of a new psy scene growing out of nothing, completely on its own, without the distraction of outside influences.
