I do this Frippertronic looping effect with Live where I use two delays on a return track, route it to an empty audio track, and then route that audio back to the same return track again to recreate Robert Fripp's technique sans the tape machines.
I wanted to try and find a way to sync this looping audio with the master tempo so that when I play other samples or loops it syncs cleanly as a cohesive whole; for the time being I have to perform some crude beat matching of sorts and the results aren't very good.
Is there any way to do this?
P.S.: I tried using a Looper but I hate the way it loops compared to the effect I get with the Frippertronics.
