I loathe wood being used with electronics. You’re not fooling anybody that your tech was carved out of a tree and it just looks stupid, but I suppose it makes sense for some DIY projects.

But that’s an instrument that uses wood in the design most of the time and is part of how the instrument sounds. I’m talking about things like having a full metal or plastic case on a box and then wood sides, or a computer keyboard with bamboo keys. If you’re in a room with all wood walls, ceilings, and furniture then fine. Otherwise :x
