MIDI catch should be at least an option. If the volume of clip is low at the begining and for most of the lenght of a clip, then at the end of that clip there is a sudden crescendo, when you go back to the start IT HAS TO CATCH the volume position again, which Ableton doesn't. So you have to make marks of automation for at the begining of each clip, for every single parameter you're using, so that it start with the right values. This is long, tedius, and mostly anti workflow.
