special encoder device for mapping parameters to Push?

Post by 5meohd » Sat Mar 08, 2014 4:40 am

I've seen some similar stuff made in the past for the apc40 and such.. but the one I tried (can't think of the damn name!) was a bit convoluted and did not update the text/UI data to Push's LCD.

What I'm looking for seems simple enough..

I'd like to have more control over mapping out parameters to the Push and how it uses "banks".

As is, you are stuck mapping 8 encoders at a time to get to the next "bank".

It would be soooo user friendly to have finer control over this.

e.g. I've been loving NI's Monark. Its a Reaktor player ensemble. I've used lives native learning tool to put all the parameters of the synth into its instrument device. BUT I can't separate them in logical/musical order. I want to have bank 1 be the filter section, bank 2 mixer, bank 3 oscillator's etc...

any thoughts? btw.. I don't have any hope of being able to build this
