Unsynced Autopan LFO start position: is it random?

Post by djqazi » Sat Mar 15, 2014 3:26 am

I love using the autopan with the phase set to 0 degrees to make it a "auto amp LFO". Unfortunately, when I try to use it in uncynced (hertz) mode, it doesn't seem to start the LFO at the same place in the wavetable each time. Is this a bug, or was the plugin actually designed this way? Can't find much info anywhere, thanks.

I've never tried to control the start of the unsynced one. The only way I can think to maybe reset it is either the power button or the toggle between beats and hz button. If you hit either of those MAYBE it'll reset. I have not tried it. But if that does not work, I guess it is an untamed beast.

I can kind of see why it would be like that. When unsynced there are no rules to define where the cycle should start.
