Is it possible to force the Push display to be in either drum mode or note mode?

I don't know a way to do this but I think it would be useful.

Don't forget you can use the Melodic step sequencer in a way similar to the Drum sequencer.

You can use ClyphX to switch Push to note mode, using the "PUSH DRINS" message. I have a video on using ClyphX here if you need to learn the basics. The first few minutes covers installation and the basics of using ClyphX:

really nice ClyphX tutorial. With most things I'm relatively on point, but ClyphX constantly has me riding in the slow lane. I'm guessing poor memory is the major contributer here. I should set up those clips in the browser like you.
