What computer? What OS?
What latency are you currently experiencing?

i have i5 processor,4 gb RAM,640 gb hardisk,windows 7

i plugged my guitar using a FOCUSRITE SCARLET 2i2 interface and click the recording button in ableton 9

1) i start playing my guitar but the signals on my screen(in the LIVE) come after a delay and than i can continue with the recording
2) now when i want to record multiple tracks i face timing issues because TRACK 1 already starts playing but the recording starts after a while    :!: :!:

It sounds to me like your buffer size is set too high. What is it set to now?

First thing is to confirm that you are using ASIO.

This. If you are on MME or other Windows drivers the latency aways seems huge. I htink 2i2s have ASIO drivers in the install disc or you can get them from the Focusrite site.
