control volume of loops via velocity?

Post by drb » Tue Apr 08, 2014 3:23 am

I want to use some drum loops. The way I'm doing it is to put one on each channel, assign a midi key and set to gate. That way I can turn on an as I want, and I can change tempo and still use these loops.

I want to have external midi switch them on and off, so I assuned a MIDI key, but would like control over the volume based on key velocity. I could use simpler, but then I lose the warping stuff, right?

What's the best way?

thnx!@@@

Velocity is near the Gate setting in clip launch properties.
