first of all, I use push for live performances.
Second: I don't like having to switch pages or modes too much when on stage.
I'm in drumrack mode most of the time.
But I don't use the stepsequencer, nor do i use the clip lenght stuff in the lower right part of push.
so basically there are 48 pads unused. I'd love to map them to something else.
Also the grid buttons on the right side of the button matrix or the encoders.
I'd like to map them to some other stuff than what the abes intended them to do...
But live ignores everything i try to map. Is that really meant to be?
On The apc40 for example: whatever button or encoder you map to something
just loses it's default functionality and does what you mapped it to instead.
but with push, this doesn't work, is that right?
Is there no way push could work in some hybrid drumrack mode with custom midi mappings?
this is really bothering me?
