Reaktor 5 on sale for $99 until May 28th
Great deal, down from $399:

They did this same deal last year too I think. I've been eyeing Reaktor for a few months now, but was holding out for a sale. Win for me!

It's usually a solid path to a cheap Komplete upgrade too. I think they generally do this Reaktor sale, then they do the cheap upgrade deal to komplete.

Good to know. Though I just started getting into Max for Live, and now with Reaktor 5 I think my plate will be pretty full for a while.Angstrom wrote:It's usually a solid path to a cheap Komplete upgrade too. Also, just installed Reaktor, and like Live it too isn't updated for Retina.

Yep. I've owned Reaktor since v.3, and last year I qualified for an upgrade to Komplete for (i think) $299. Amazing bargain. And the Reaktor User Library is reason alone to get it.Angstrom wrote:It's usually a solid path to a cheap Komplete upgrade too. Imagine if U-he had a sale like this on Zebra

Imagine how all the people feel how bought Reaktor at its regular price (399$!, that is a factor of 4!)Sibanger wrote:Imagine if U-he had a sale like this on Zebra
Or any other NI stuff which regularly gets a "sale".
Just marketing tricks.
I personally prefer the u-he approach.

All Nis stuff regularly goes on sale, i haven't paid full price for NI anything in a long time. Take advantage of the sales and buy then. TT are having a sale to coincide, 35% off everything including the Total bundle which works out at $250! I'd be pretty pissed if i'd just bought that and i wouldn't predict TT having such a sale. Still would suck if i'd just bought Reaktor but i'd just have to suck it up and redress the balance by never paying full price again!stuartm wrote:Imagine how all the people feel how bought Reaktor at its regular price (399$!, that is a factor of 4!)Sibanger wrote:Imagine if U-he had a sale like this on Zebra

Hmmm... Documentation leaves a bit to be desired...
Going through the "Getting Started" manual and the randomization feature for one of the sequencers doesn't work??? A quick search of their forum shows I have to turn on a setting that I likely never would have found otherwise. Not a good start NI.
