Mousewheel Zoom...

Post by ModuLR » Thu Jun 02, 2005 1:11 am

any possibility of this? you've got mousewheel handlers obviously written.. any chance of attaching them to zoom when applicable. It'd be a *really* nice feature to incorporate! :D maybe Live5?!

With a modifier key this could be really nice, I love the drag/zoom as it is but sometimes you don't want to lose your mouse position in the middle of a page.

TOTALLY AGREE!!
it's a pain to always go to the time line to zoom.... and same for scolling could be cool, lets say on pressing ctrl or alt + clic in the window, horinzontal mv make you sroll, vertical make you zoom.

Why not have mouse wheel on all the main controls like volume, pan, fx send amounts.

This way all you have to do is hover over the control and move the mouse wheel. No clicking and dragging required. This works well in other apps like CubaseSX, some VSTis have it too.

Makes for fast ajustments plus you could add when holding down control/Apple Key that it gives finer scrolling.
