No Video Support????

Post by who » Thu Jun 02, 2005 2:27 am

I'm really surprised (and disappointed) there isn't at least a simple video track in Live5. Anyone else? :(

me.

Have you tried Revision? It did not work for me - now I need to use Digital Performer... Having it all in Live would rule, because I prefer live to anything else for composition, and now that I am doing some work for commercials it would be nice to have a video track. How hard can it be to get a quicktime thing in there? I mean, if they are adding MP3 support which they said was really hard to do - they should be able to sync some video!

I'm on a PC, so I can't use revision. Even if I could , I wouldn't want to because I would have to run Live in Rewire Slave mode.

Maybe we'll get it in Live6!?!?

I totally agree... I would love a simple large video (resizeable) video window.

It would be the final nail in the coffin for my Copy of Cubase SX3.

PLEASE!

i hear you on that one. i had been using live but had to revert back to DP 4.5 for a score i'm doing and i'm miserable and i miss my dear ol' live. someday we'll have video...until then...we suffer....man i hate DP 4.5....still, live 5 is rocking my world....

Yup, we need Video support...
Ahhh hell, add tempo mapping so we can score to picture...
which normally has human tempo changes!
