problems with clip launch

Post by MisterMcGillicuddy » Wed Jun 11, 2014 12:28 pm

So I've begun exporting all of the clips from my songs and mashing them together into a live set but I have one gigantic problem; every time I launch the next scene of my set there is this audible dip in audio, like a millisecond worth of silence between the end of the first scene and the beginning of the next, for example if I play the chorus for 8 bars then launch into a break the audio will essentially cut out for a millisecond and then restart again as the next scene is played. When I listen to the fully exported versions of my songs it sounds great; its only when I'm launching these clips in my live set do they sound choppy I'm thinking this may be because I exported most of my clips without flattening the channels? I honestly don't know if that makes a difference but I have a show in a week so I'm hoping this is something I can fix. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Any tips? Thanks.

Are you using a global quantization ?
Is the HD access light flashing in the top right ?
Do you load stuff in RAM mode ?

global quantization is set to 1 bar, the HD access doesn't flash when I launch clips and no I don't load anything in RAM mode I use the default settings for whenever I drop clips into the project.

so, in addition with the normal 'lag' due to the quantization setting, you have a very short silence before it's actually launched ?
Does it behaves the same if you increase latency ?
