Hi-
I play electronic drums and I have 4 different drumsets I'd like to use at different times in a song. I think the easiest way to toggle between them will be to have them all in one drumrack, seperated by 12 notes, then I can just toggle a pitch device to switch between them. What's the easiest way to do that? I hope I could figure out how to have seval +12 pitch devices and toggle between them with buttons on my APC40, but I can't figure out how to have a button always turn OFF a device instead of just toggle between on/off every time.
Thoughts?

i would advice you to put your drum racks in an instrument rack, then use the chain selector to scroll through them.

I do something to the same effect of what you are doing, but aproached it quite differently.
Here is what I do:
My DrumRack uses the 16 pads from C1-D#2.
Each contains a racked Sampler filled with 128 Samples each, which you can change between with the SampleSelector, which in turn is mapped to a macro of the Sampler rack. ( This is called a 128)
So now each drum kit is actually a different setting of each of the 16 SampleSelectors.
To switch between them (and other settings of my macros and even the DrumRack sends) on the fly, I use the Clyphx Snap action.
Clyphx is an extremely versatile utility script. Look it up.
The Snap action writes all the settings of devices (or anything in Live really) into the name of a specified Snap clip when you trigger that clip for the first time, and upon retriggering this clip recalls these settings either immidiately or in a timed manner every time you retrigger it.
I made an extra track in my set, that I use to house many of these clips, so that switching between different kits (and their settings!) is just an act of triggering the different Snap clips.
It's basically an in-set preset system.
You should really look into this, it works like a dream.
One word of caution though: If you use the scene buttons to trigger scenes, there needs to be an adjustment, because without it, triggering a scene would also execute the Snap clips that are on that scene, which you may not want. So in the Clyphx user settings there is an option to set: "Execute Clyphx actions from muted tracks": True/False. You should set this to False, and then mute the Snap clips containing track when you are not in the process of recalling a preset. I also set all the clips containing Snaps to the Gate launch mode.
For triggering I use my Launchpad.
I hope this helps
