FCB1010 remote session view navigation and recording problem

I've almost got it, but there is one annoying anomaly left:

I'm trying to assign FCB pedals to individual track's 'launch clip at highlighted scene' button per the doc (pg. 205 #4). I have each pedal assigned a unique CC, and send 127 on the pedal press. Currently, I'm not using the second FCB CC slot, but have tried various combinations, to no avail.

Anyway, i can start clip recording fine. But it takes TWO pedal presses to stop recording and launch the clip, instead of just one. Not what you want real-time for sure.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? Is there some global launch setting that could be at the root of this behavior?

Mystery solved. My sysex dumps from the FCB 1010 editor to the FCB were configured to use the wrong MIDI out, so my board didn't have the programming I thought it did. That's what happens when you try to get too much new gear working together.

Anyway, for the record, I assigned CCs 20-30 to the 10 footswitches. Each sends 127 when pressed. No need for the second CC slot. Works like a champ.
