Rewire glitches using Live with PT 11 + buffer size issue

Hi all,

I'm having some confusing issues running PT11 with Ableton as a rewire slave on my Macbook.

First problem is that I can only play one stereo file from Ableton into the PT Aux channel, when I add another track it comes out garbled and stuttering, sometimes loops making it impossible to use.

Secondly it produces a nasty distorted combing effect when the Pro Tools buffer is set to 2048; it seems to work when I drop the buffer size below though, is this a known issue?

I'm playing the audio from a Thunderbolt SSD drive and outputting on an external sound card.

I previously had Rewire working fine in PT10 so a bit confused as to what could be causing this problem now. Any help?
